For this first lesson we asked kindergartners to explain what they thought science was. We asked them to draw and write about the things they think about when they hear the word science. We then completed a read aloud and had them add to their thoughts based on what they heard from the book. We organized all of our thoughts in a thinking map known as a circle map. |
