2. What is an Amphibian?

Amphibians are animals that live both on land and in water. They are fascinating animals that have many unique characteristics. These wonderful creatures have smooth, moist skin and webbed feet to help them swim in the water. They also lay hundreds of eggs at a time. Students had their first opportunity to observe our STEM zoo's fire-belly toads to see their unique characteristics.
