Part of being a great scientist is learning how to make keen observations. Observations are things we notice as scientists. We use our sense to make these observations. We can look at an objects shape, size, and color. We can also examine their texture and smell. Recording pieces of information like this will help you come up with explanations later in your labs. In order to organize their thoughts, students made observations about their garlic bulbs in a bubble map. These bubble maps can help demonstrate characteristics of an object through observation.
